Fennel seeds and their benefits

These aromatic seeds come from Foeniculum vulgare – a herb. It is mainly grown in India and the Mediterranean areas. They are known to offer a wide range of nutritional properties that improve health.

Composition

Fennel seeds are rich in vitamins C, E, and K and minerals such as Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, Potassium, Selenium and Iron. It also has polyphenol which is an antioxidant, fibre and organic compound like anethole.

Caution
